Maps.

Some maps are works of art. There are books about the greatest maps ever made. Given an address, a map gives a graphical representation of the relationship of the address to the surrounding features in a pleasing and useful combination of style and informative content.

This is not one of those maps.

I don't want to like this guy

The blog photo is the biggest I've ever seen, that speaks of an ego far too big for the internet.

But he gets excited by all the same things I do! It's not fair!

You write your application in Python with a WSGI-compatible web framework via the Google App Engine SDK and upload it to your App Engine account. Then, you sit back and let the world hit your app as hard as it can and let Google handle the rest.

Whoah! I just wish my account application would go through and I could start hosting some apps on this thing. Also, just for good measure, you can run AMF3 remoting on App Engine! Sweeeet!

Wit and wisdom of Wubbsy

Move over kant, step aside Neitche, there's a new philosopher in town! Wubbsy, for those unfamiliar with childrens TV, is a yellow cat-like creature who lives in a tree and likes to play, play, play. He's got a bendy tail, and he likes it that way.

I use wubbsism all the time in my software architecture decisions. For example, if there's a proper way to do things the J2EE way, but you want it done now and done fast, "it doesn't have to be by the book."
